Silksworth Community Football Club was founded on July 7th 1998.
The initial idea to form the club came from the club Chairman and Manager Steven Smith, to simply give a group of friends an excuse to get together and have a game of football. At that time, the club was known as âThe Thorndale FCâ and they became a member of the George Vardy Hetton and District League.
Everybody is welcome at our home games at a small cost (must charge as per league rules!!)
Kick off is between 1330 and 1430hrs on a Saturday depending on the time of year. Midweek games are played between 1830hrs and 1930hrs depending on location of the game.
The club would like to thank Silksworth Comrades Club for their ongoing support and sponsorship. After our home games, fans and players alike are all welcome back to the club where you will be assured of a friendly welcome.
