Engineering Pre-apprentice Programme

Seta’s Pre-Apprentice Programme  supports young people in launching their careers and give them a better chance of securing an apprenticeship and employment.

We provide hands-on training, prepare students for the workplace and a structured learning programme which, once completed, will provide an industry-recognised qualification.

The Study Programmes are available for 16 to 18-year-olds with GCSE's at grade C/4 or above, including Maths, English and Science. The training is fully funded.

Students will be taught in our well-equipped workshops by our expert staff, who have a great depth of industry experience, and they will learn a wide range of engineering skills.

Seta has an excellent track record in delivering Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes. All of the students who completed our last Pre-Apprentice Programme have now secured advanced engineering apprenticeships with local employers.

We have spaces available for our Pre-Apprenticeship programme in both Fabrication/Welding and Electrical/Mechanical disciplines at present.
