Disability Awareness

The Disability Awareness programme delivered to either non-disabled participants or young people with a range of abilities and additional needs to create awareness of how to include those with a range of disabilities (hearing impaired, visual impaired, wheelchair users, autism, etc) and the adaptations needed to include these participants. The programme works through a range of modules around: Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment, Mobility Impairments, Autism & Asperger, Interacting with Others and Speech / Communication Impairments.   

The course can be delivered in varying duration, from a one off taster session covering a specific module or impairment to a 6 week course.

This cost covers the full cost of working with a full class or group. Please note that Accredited Level 1 courses do require participants to be registered to the EDI the awarded body at a cost of £20 per participant.
