Eligible to offer free 2 year old childcare places and 3 and 4 year funding.
Carol is registered to care for babies to school age children. She is a qualified Nursery Nurse and Social Worker, with a Certificate in Playgroup Practice.
Carol has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education, a Level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice, a Foundation Degree in Education and Care in July 2010 and has completed a BA (Hons) Education and Curriculum Studies degree in July 2012. She regularly attends childminder training courses to keep up to date.
Carol has worked in the childcare profession for over 36 years, she has relevant qualifications as well as vast experience. Parents both past and present are happy to speak with prospective parents as a form of reference.
Carol can also offer a babysitting service in the Sunderland area.
Carol was graded Outstanding in her two Ofsted inspections in 2008 and January 2011.
Carol has also been a member of the Redby childminders group for over 10 years where she attends play sessions each week and during the school holidays Carol attends places such as Washington Wildfowl Park, local parks and the beach etc with the group. During term time the children are taken out to parks, toddler groups, museums and soft play etc regularly.
Carol has 2 pet cats.
