You can go online and use the internet to support you with your health in a lot of different ways. You can make appointments online, order repeat prescriptions and find advice on specific symptoms and conditions.

Live Life Well

Live Life Well is a free service for people who live or work in Sunderland who would like support to change their lifestyle.

They provide both advice and support to connect you to a range of opportunities across the city. They can support you to make positive lifestyle changes, help locate the best services to meet your needs and support you every step of the way.

NHS One You

NHS One You will help you make small changes that fit your life, so you feel better and healthier, every day. 

It can provide details about health apps to help you monitor your alcohol intake, how much you are moving as well as other useful health and wellbeing information, you can find more information on the NHS One You website.

NHS Live Well

NHS Live Well offers a variety of advice, tips and tools online to help you make the best choices about your health and wellbeing.

NHS health check up

NHS Health Check up offer a free health check for adults aged 40-74. It's designed to spot early signs of stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia.

As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions.  NHS also offer a free health check up which can tell you whether you're at higher risk of getting certain health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease and a stroke.

Online health training with Learn My Way

Learn My Way is a free online website where you can learn many basic skills, they also have a particular module all about improving your health.  You can find more information on the Learn My Way website.

Self care and carer apps

Self care and carer apps give you more control over your health and wellbeing at your own convenience and can be used to monitor health conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), as medication reminders and support for carers, as well as enabling you to make online GP bookings and order repeat prescriptions.
