Free Wi-Fi and computer access in and around Sunderland

You can get access to free Wi-Fi, computers and the internet in the Council's libraries and Customer Service Centres.  For details on the locations and how to access them can be found on the Council’s wifi, internet and public access web page.

You can also get free access to Wi-Fi, computers and the internet in a number of venues across Sunderland. In Sunderland City Centre public access computers are available on the ground floor of City Hall, Plater Way, Sunderland, SR1 3AA.

O2 offers 1000s of free Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide. Find out more and search for free wifi hotspots near you at the O2 website.

BT offers Wi-Fi hotspots free to existing BT broadband customers, however there are pay as you go options available. Further details can be found on the BT Wi-Fi website.
