Wellbeing Support for Unpaid Carers

HOPS provides holistic therapies in order to support carers to improve their wellbeing. We provide a range of therapies including massage, reiki, reflexology, indian head massage. We support people to feel better, to give them respite and a chance to de-stress, find a place of calm and to build resilience.

Carers can register with HOPS and then access monthly coffee mornings and Time Out days  - each provide a chance to take a short break and to chat with others in a safe and understanding environment. At a Time Out day, we provide one to one therapies, group activity and lunch.

HOPS strives to grant fund its activities to make them either free or low cost in order to benefit those who may not normally be able to access holistic therapies and activities. Costs are not always fully covered by grants and so we do ask for donations from those that feel able to do so.
