Alexandra View provides residential, nursing and dementia care for older people on a long and short term basis. We also have a separate unit of 10 beds, a service commissioned by the NHS. On our top floor we have our nursing care unit, the residential care unit exists on the ground floor and our time to think beds are on our lower floor
People requiring residential care can still lead a very independent life and at Alexandra View we aim to nurture this independence by encouraging you to choose what you want to do when you want to do it, but still providing the support and reassurance you need when it is required. We will regularly review your needs to be able to adapt our care should your needs change.
We also offer short term care in the form of respite and recuperative care. Respite care is usually for a week or a fortnight where the people who usually assist you are unavailable or away. Recuperative care is short term care provided to people recovering from illness for as long as they require. Alexandra View can provide specialist end of life care when required.
