Age UK Sunderland - ActivAge Programme

Age UK Sunderland's ActivAge Programme offers a range of courses and activities to help older people throughout the City of Sunderland to get more out of later life. We aim to promote wellbeing and independence, reduce isolation and stimulate the mind.

Our current ActivAge Programme includes: 

  • Digital Skills: these classes include learning how to use tablets, smart phones and computers
  • Digital Skills: learn how to stay safe on-line & use technology to enhance your life 
  • Calligraphy courses
  • Watercolour courses
  • Spanish courses
  • Veterans - Active Minds
  • Meditation & Mindfulness
  • Walking Football
  • Tai Chi
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Line Dancing
  • Dance Fit
  • Keep Fit
  • Seated Exercise
  • A variety of social activities take place on a weekly basis
