Age UK Sunderland - ActivAge Programme

Age UK Sunderland's ActivAge Programme offers a range of courses and activities to help older people throughout the City of Sunderland to get more out of later life. We aim to promote wellbeing and independence, reduce isolation and stimulate the mind.

Our current ActivAge Programme includes: 

  • iPad courses
  • Tablet (Android) courses
  • Computer courses
  • Calligraphy courses
  • Watercolour courses
  • Family Tree, Local History, Photo Shop
  • Language courses: Spanish, German and French
  • Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Line Dancing, Dance Fit, Keep Fit and Seated Exercise
  • A variety of social activities take place on a weekly basis
