Sunderland Bangladesh International Centre

The aim of the Sunderland Bangladesh International Centre is to provide a safe, well managed and convenient meeting place for the Bangladeshi and wider local community to meet and engage in activities and cultural events as well as providing training and activities for public sector organisations. 

The centre meets the needs of the BME community and is also open to all serving the community irrespective of ethnic origin, culture or religion in sunderland.

We deliver sessions and support on

  • social welfare
  • domestic abuse
  • networking
  • bringing communities together
  • gender specific work
  • employment and enterprise
  • support for general health
  • IT Suite & Training Room - public access and occasional courses
  • Kitchen with catering facilities
