Washington Clean and Green

Washington Clean and Green are a volunteer group who carry out environmental improvements in response to local concerns across the area, which enhances neighbourhoods and encourages communities to use and make the most of their green spaces.

The main focus of our project is to tackle some of the green spaces across Washington, which involves removing fly tipping and reducing overgrown vegetation. We are always expanding with new developments and the addition of new sites that require the help of volunteers.

If you like being outdoors and would like to make a physical improvement in your local community then get in touch.

No experience is necessary as full training is provided.

All volunteers must complete an induction before they can volunteer.
