AAA Sports

Since launching in October 2007, AAAsports have rapidly grown and are one of the largest Gymnasticks, Trampoline and Cheerleading provider in the North of England, with hundreds of AAAsports members taking part in our activities across the region every week.

All AAAsports Classes are run by our highly qualified and experienced AAAsports Coaches, all of whom share a passion for the sport and aim to provide the best quality classes at all times.  We also have new and aspiring Coaches who deliver classes alongside our more experienced Coaches to provide support and extra tuition to AAAsports Members.

AAAsports run classes at both our dedicated centre, AAAsports Sunderland, and at 6 satellite locations across the North of England.  Each location has slightly different apparatus, but all AAAsports classes are delivered to the same high standard at each location.

Description

Discover Disability Gymnastics and Trampoline

AAAsports are proud to offer Disability Gymnastics & Trampoline across our classes.  Through our vast experience of delivering disability classes, we are able to adapt our programmes to meet individual needs to ensure progression and fun at every class.  No matter what the disability, we aim to look at the strengths of the individual whilst working together to create a safe environment for each Member to grow and learn.

All new Members are welcome to come along to any of our classes in advance to meet our Coaches, assess each location and observe the delivery of our classes.  By providing us with as much information as possible about each Member, we can ensure that the right adaptations are introduced to the class.  If you would like to arrange a visit or to discuss joining, please contact us.

Can anyone with a disability join?

Pretty much.  AAAsports aims to be as inclusive as possible and we accept Members with almost all disabilities.  However, the safety of our Members is always paramount and therefore we always recommend that any Members with medical conditions that affect their day-to-day life check with their GP before joining our classes.  There are a very small number of disabilities which we are not able to accept in our classes due to medical reasons:

  • Detaching retina
  • Dwarfism (Achondroplasia)
  • Downs Syndrome Members who have tested positive on an AAI Test
