Criteria for access
A student must be attending a qualifying placement and reside within the area of Sunderland City Council. The age criterion for this service is 16-25 years.
The student must have had an Education, Health and Care Plan outlining his/her difficulties. A student with medical conditions affecting travel will also be considered for assistance but medical advice must be provided on application.
The distance criterion remains at over 3 miles from the student's home address to the college placement.
