Digital Sunderland

Digital Sunderland is a network made up of local organisations working together to develop the digital inclusion opportunity for the people of Sunderland and help build a digitally inclusive city.

For people to be digitally included, they need Connectivity, Accessibility and Digital skills.  There are five basic digital skills we would like people to have to manage confidently online;

1. Communicating
2. Handling information and content
3. Transacting
4. Problem solving
5. Being safe and legal online

The areas in this section can provide you with these digital skills, confidence and tools to go online and explore the benefits of being digitally included.

If you struggle with filling in online forms, banking, Universal Credit and health appointments, our Sunderland Libraries Services are working in partnership with Sunderland Social Inclusion and Dyslexia Project to make the Council IT facilities more accessible.
