Special Educational Needs Resourced Provision in Mainstream Schools

In addition to providing Special Day Schools, the Local Authority makes provision for Special Educational Needs in the following mainstream schools.

Farringdon Community Academy

Highfield Community Primary School

 

Alternative provision for children with speech and language difficulties (specific language impairment) who require intensive direct speech and language therapy and teaching to support transferable skills from therapy to teaching. This is offered for a time limited period for 4 days weekly.

Referral to consider placement at Language Panel (half termly basis)

Alternative provision for children with speech and language difficulties who require intensive direct speech and language therapy and teaching to support transferable skills from therapy to teaching.

Oxclose Community Nursery

 

Resources provision for young people with physical and medical difficulties.

Early Education for 2 year old places are available for families who meet the relevant criteria.
