Dry January - Tips for a Booze Free Month

Dry January

Make a healthy start to 2019 with tips for a booze-free month

Christmas might not be here yet, but drinkers in the North East are already looking to a healthier New Year and planning a Dry January. This is the seventh year of Dry January and around 1 in 10 drinkers are planning to ditch the booze in January 2019.  An alcohol free month can mean better sleep, feeling fitter and losing weight.  Free resources and information about how your organisation can get involved is at https://alcoholchange.org.uk/get-involved/campaigns/dry-january.

Balance, The North East Alcohol Office, is looking for groups of people taking part in Dry January to include in promotional activity. If you’re planning to get involved as part of a group and are happy to be involved in publicity please email louise.darby@sunderland.gov.uk
